A skatepark filled with graffiti artwork

Skatepark and Graffiti

Tram shed’s second life.

These images have been taken in a derelict tram shed in Sheffield which is popular amongst skaters and skateboarders. The shed itself is not the most exciting architectural site. That is, unless you are into graffiti as much as we are. Artistically speaking of course.

The shed was used for servicing the city’s trams. The system closed in 1960 and has been derelict since then. The trams returned in 1994 in the shape of Supertram.
